Job Training Programs

Your company can reach its maximum production level in the least amount of time through flexible, custom-made training programs. The Iowa Industrial New Jobs Training Program for new and expanding businesses is administered through our local Hawkeye Community College. The program helps pay for job-related employee education, training facilities, training material, reimbursement of travel expenses, and trainers' salaries. More than 70 area companies, including manufacturing, food processing and telecommunication firms, have benefited from job training programs facilitated by Hawkeye Community College.

Now located in the Cedar Falls Industrial & Technology Park is the new Hawkeye Community College Center for Business and Industry, University of Northern Iowa Waste Reduction Center, and the University of Northern Iowa Paint and Coating Research Facility. Another source of up-to-date training programs is the local University of Northern Iowa's Department of Industrial Technology.
