Cedar Falls is part of the Cedar Falls/Waterloo metropolitan area, the fourth largest urban area in the State of Iowa, with a population of approximately 130,000. Commonly referred to as the Cedar Valley Communities, it offers all the amenities of larger urban areas, but with a hometown environment. Cedar Falls is less than a six-hour drive to Chicago, St. Louis, Kansas City, Omaha, Minneapolis-St. Paul and Milwaukee.
