Electrical needs are provided by Cedar Falls Utilities, primarily generated from CFU’s ownership in coal-fired and wind-driven generating facilities. The average rate paid by CFU industrial customers is amongst the lowest throughout the Midwest and nationwide. Rates have been very stable, and the frequency of interruptions is virtually nonexistent. CFU will be glad to run rate comparisons upon request.
